Description from the packaging.
An interactive baseball comic book.
Joey knew everything about baseball... except how to play.
At Bat is a fun-filled, interactive comic book about baseball for children of all ages. It is the story of Rudy and her little brother Joey and how Rudy teaches Joey how to bat. A colorful interface allows children to click on character's dialogue bubble and have that character say the dialogue while the child reads along. The child/user can choose to: Follow the story, which teaches baseball fundamentals and life skills; play one of six games on the "Interactive Television"; or look for "Hidden Discoverables" including fun animations, sounds and baseball trivia. The child/user determines the outcome of the story (one of four endings) by directing Joey's final At Bat.
Discover bonus extras including:
Baseball trivia, jokes, sing-alongs and side trips.
Some pages are devoted entirely to discovery. Look for hidden surprises including fun animations, sounds, stories, jokes and trivia.
At Bat includes an interactive television where you can play one of six games, including a full nine-inning baseball game, which you can play against the computer or another opponent.

4 Out of 4 Stars
"The illustration, narration and games in the program are all top-notch." - Four Start Award of Excellence from Home PC.
"There are not many titles that feature young female protagonists... At Bat is an interactive comic book... that will keep kids involved in non-violent play. You might be grossed out by the barfing 'Hurlman', but your nine-year-old will love it, trust me." - The Computer Paper.
