Career
- Tom was the vice president of sales and marketing for Broderbund in 1984.
- He left to become CEO of Avant-Garde Publishing, when venture capitalist David Silver was working with the company to expand via acquisitions.
- Tom left Avant-Garde and in 1988 founded NJ Pets, a company that sold out to Petco in 2006.
