Many years ago, the homeland was invaded by hordes of evil shadow-like creatures. Some say they came from out of the ground under the mountains behind Shining Moon Temple. In their nocturnal attacks, they killed many people, including your parents. By chance you were spared and a wise Master of karate adopted you and trained you in his secret techniques of martial arts.

The Master and his beautiful daughter became your close friends and, inexplicably, the demon attacks came less frequently.

Then one day, just as life seemed to resume tranquility, the phantom army began its furious attack once more, culminating in the vicious murder of the Master and his daughter by the invisible fiends!

And now... it is time to punish the diabolical perpetrators of this foul crime!
