Description from the packaging.

Meet Alf, Robo-Bird and Freezy. They're wonderful characters in Early Learning Friends, a collection of three exciting, educational games which help you develop important learning skills.

You can go to the ShapeShop and help Robo-Bird match shapes, colors and sizes of toy parts. Matching characteristics is a problem-solving skill that is essential to the development of arithmetic, reading and writing abilities.

If you choose Coney Island, you'll help Freezy the penguin sell ice cream by placing colors and patterns in the correct sequence. Sequencing skills contribute to the understanding of fundamental math concepts.

Or you can help Alf in the Color Caves plan the best route through the caves to find the color room at the bottom. The ability to plan a path through an environment is an important early reading, writing and math skill.

Each one of these wonderfully animated Early Learning Friend games gives children the opportunity to have a lot of fun while acquiring skills that are basic to learning.

Joyce Hakansson Associates, creator of Early Learning Friends, is a team of artists, writers, educators, and programmers working together to create innovative software for children.

Educational value: Early Learning Friends develops and improves learning skills like color and shape identification, pattern recognition, routing, planning and problem solving. These skills contribute directly to the development of strong letter and number recognition skills.
